太行九莲山景区为河南省风景名胜区，国家生态公益林保护区，国家太行猕猴保护区，国家地质公园九莲山园区。景区位于辉县市上八里镇松树坪村，距新乡市55公里。九莲山因有九峰相连，酷似莲花而得名。景区总面积25平方公里，由两条峡谷和一条红岩绝壁组成。现开发的有西莲峡自然山水游览区和小西天民俗信仰游览区，尚有关后沟游览区和红岩绝壁游览区未开放，保持着原生态，是“驴友”的好去处。
Taihang Nine-lotus Hill scenic spot is a very famous scenic resort in Henan Province. It is the conservation area of national ecological forest and Taihang macaques, located in the national geological park— Nine-lotus Hill area. It is situated in the Songshuping Village of Shangbali Town in Huixian City, 55 kilometres away from Xinxiang City. The Nine-lotus Hill is so named for the 9 closely connected mountain peaks looking like a lotus. The total area of this scenic spot is 25 square kilometers, which is composed of two valleys and a red rock cliff. Newly developed are the west lotus valley natural landscape tourist area and the Xiaoxitian folk custom tourist area; on the other hand, Guanhougou tourist area and red rock cliff tourist area remain undeveloped and keep the original ecology, which is a good place for donkey-lovers.
西莲峡谷深石怪、植被丰茂、溪泉流水长年不断，主要景点有老梯口、天门口、九莲潭、天壶瀑布和999级天梯。
The west lotus valley is very deep with strange stones, lush vegetation, and perpetual cream and springwater. Its major scenery contains Laotikou, Tianmenkou, Nine-lotus Pool, Tianhu Waterfall and 999 sky ladder.
小西天女性俗神信仰闻名遐迩。有庙宇三处，殿堂40余座，香火极盛，四季有善男信女祈求国泰民安，家庭幸福。人文景观被美丽的自然山水所包容衬托，仙脂峡既有北方山水的雄奇，又有南国山水的秀雅。主要景点有西莲寺、天孕潭、演水壁、群瀑沟、莲花洞、后静宫、炼石滩、天门。全国首创的帐篷客栈在仙脂峡中。

The scenic spot provides electromobiles for tourists to easily travel from Xilian to Nine Lotus Ladder and to Middle Lotus Houjing Palace. Each electromobile can hold at most 8 people, which is very comfortable, driven by electricity and without pollution.

Nine-lotus Hill attraction provides different kinds of rest and leisure ways for all tourists, whose size is similar to that of the reception area and whose standard fits the overall standard of the scenic spot.

Sightseeing lift
The sightseeing lift of Nine-lotus Hill attraction lies east of Tianhu Waterfall with the vertical height being more than 160 meters. It can carry 15 people each time and only needs 75 seconds to send people to the top where tourists can enjoy the heroic Tianhu Waterfall and Red Rock Cliff. Tourists can also enjoy the exciting rising and falling brought by the sightseeing lift.
Transportation in the scenic spot
The gate is 4.8 kilometers away from the sky ladder parking lot. In order to make it convenient for the tourists to travel inside the scenic spot, the scenic spot bought more than 30 sightseeing buses, each holding at most 10 people. The sightseeing buses are bright inside and comfortable and have the same appearance. Tourists not only can have a rest but also enjoy the natural scenery in the sightseeing buses.
